DRiNKLiNK Supporting 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
DRiNKLiNK has joined UN to raise awareness of gender-based violence in an attempt to end it. From 25th November to 10th December we will be spreading the word on female empowerment and sharing stories from brave survivors.
Domestic abuse is a common form of violence that can be a result of a loved one’s alcohol-related issues. It is never okay, and the victim should never be blamed. Abuse can take many forms, such as verbal, emotional, manipulation, coercive, financial, sexual, in addition to violence. Please visit https://communityplanningaberdeen.org.uk/domesticabuse/ for more information on how to get help.
If you have any further questions about domestic abuse, we encourage you to join to the free online session that Aberdeen’s Violence Against Women Partnership are hosting on 10th December at 5pm. Click here to register for free.
