Activity is ramping up for DRiNKLiNK in 2016 and as a result, the charity that supports those affected by someone else’s drinking, is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join its team.
In the role, the Marketing Assistant will be expected to support the board to achieve its objectives by assisting Aberdeen marketing consultancy White Wolf Collective, to develop, implement and monitor marketing campaigns.
Founder and Chairperson of DRiNKLiNK, Stacey Summers, speaks about the role:
“When we first launched DRiNKLiNK, we had the intention to be managed fully by volunteers, but as demand and momentum grows, we recognise that to fulfil on our commitments that we need to have a dedicated resource to manage projects and make sure they are delivered timely.
“This year, we are looking to launch a volunteer recruitment campaign, events programme as well as the workplace workshop. We are also looking to run the schools campaign which will be launched later this year. The Marketing Assistant will be the driving force in ensuring the websites are up and running in 2016.
“It’s exciting for me to see that there is enough belief behind the DRiNKLiNK concept to warrant an employee. I am optimistic that this is the year that we will realise our vision. This is an important milestone for us and for the successful candidate.”
In parallel to recruiting a Marketing Assistant, DRiNKLiNK is also looking to appoint a volunteer legal advisor, HR advisor, head of funding, head of fundraising. The organisation also aims to appoint a new secretary to its board.
