Improve Employability

We have strong links with the business community and developed a volunteer programme that allows you to improve your employability – increasing your chances to get that dream job.

Whether you are starting out, aiming for a promotion or looking to change career, volunteering can be a great way to help you stand out.

With input from business leaders, DRiNKLiNK has created a volunteer programme that will allow you to build a strong CV and the skills needed to stand out during the interview process.

Although we can’t guarantee a job at the end of it, from start-to-finish we will help you to be in the strongest position possible to contend in what we are aware is a very competitive space.

Goal Setting: From our first conversation, we will work with you to identify your goals. What stage are you at in your career and where do you want the opportunity to take you.

Volunteer Plan: Our HR and Volunteer leadership team between them have an incredible amount of experience which they will use to create a custom volunteer plan that will evidence the skill sets that your employer will be looking for.

Mentoring: Through our buddy system, we will assign you a mentor who will be there every step of the way on your journey as well as support you to develop a new skill.

CV Support: We will work with you to build a strong CV that doesn’t just outline the outputs that you delivered but the impact that had on DRiNKLiNK and those we aim to serve.

Interview Training: We run training sessions on Interview skills, touching upon some other topics that will help you in the selections stages.

LinkedIn training: LinkedIn is becoming an increasingly popular way to get spotted by potential employers. Through this training session, we show you how to build your profile and demonstrate the skills employers want to see.

Networking: Each year we create a networking calendar which you will be encouraged to partake in, with both a view to improve your networking skills, expand your reach and help us build our brand visibility in parallel.
