WHO (World Health Organization) suspects that 1 in 3 women worldwide have experienced some form of abuse in their lifetime. It is important to help each other and ensure fewer women are exposed to violence. We have collated a list of actions that you can take to support the 16-days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence:


  • Orange your social media to spread the word about the issue
  • Educate yourself about the consequences of violence against women
  • Have conversations with your friends and family about the negative impact of violence against women
  • Donate money to local or national organisations and shelters
  • Volunteer for organisations that support women
  • Speak up and offer help if you suspect that someone is a victim of abuse
